Overview
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy uses a small sample of your own blood, spun in a centrifuge to concentrate platelets and growth factors, which is then injected into the thinning areas of the scalp. These growth factors improve blood supply to the follicle, prolong the growth phase and reduce shedding. It is most effective in early to moderate pattern hair loss and works well alongside medical therapy.
