Dr. Sanjay Gupta is a highly esteemed physician specializing in Internal Medicine, with an illustrious career spanning over 18 years post his MD degree. Graduating with First Class honors in MBBS from Govt. Medical College & Hospital Amritsar, he continued his academic journey by achieving his MD in Internal Medicine from the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, where he topped the university in 2004.
Throughout his career, Dr. Sanjay has held various senior positions in prestigious hospitals, including Paras Hospitals and Medeor Hospitals in Gurgaon. He has also contributed significantly to Medanta – The Medicity, where he served as a Consultant in the Department of Internal Medicine, handling both outpatient and inpatient admissions since its inception. Dr. Gupta’s expertise spans infectious diseases, complicated malaria, dengue, HIV-related complications, and more.
Dr. Gupta is an esteemed faculty member of the Authorization Committee for kidney and liver transplants at Medanta – The Medicity, having approved over 800 organ transplants.
