Dr. Aditi is an Ophthalmologist who has a strong background in holistic healthcare. She holds an M.D. (Ay.) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Yogic Science. Dr. Aditi completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Dayanand Ayurveda College, Jalandhar, Punjab in 2008 and pursued her postgraduate studies at Rajeev Gandhi Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Paprola, Himachal Pradesh, in 2012. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Kurukshetra Ayurveda University, Haryana, enrolled in 2024. Additionally, she has undergone clinical training in medicinal preparations and specialized Eye Panchakarma Therapy at Sudarshanam Netra Chikitsalayam in Thiruvalla, Kerala.
Dr. Aditi has accumulated extensive experience in Ophthalmology, having worked in various prestigious institutions. Her work includes three years of OPD/IPD and OT experience at R.G.G.P.G.A. Hospital, Paprola, where she also served as a clinical registrar for six months. She has also contributed two years to the Department of Ophthalmology at Patanjali Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Sansthan, Haridwar, and has spent over four years working at different campuses of Uttarakhand Ayurved University, including the Rishikul Campus in Haridwar and the Main Campus in Harawala, Dehradun. Since May 2019, she has been serving at the Gurukul Campus of Uttarakhand Ayurved University in Haridwar.
Dr. Aditi specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. Her areas of expertise include managing refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, addressing computer vision syndrome, and providing care for pediatric eye disorders like congenital cataracts and refractive errors. She is also experienced in treating conditions such as squint (strabismus) and amblyopia, dry eye syndrome, uveitis, retinal disorders, and glaucoma. Dr. Aditi’s expertise extends to nerve-related eye pathologies, where she offers comprehensive care for conditions affecting the optic nerve and eye movement, including optic neuritis, ischemic optic neuropathy, and ocular nerve palsies.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Aditi is skilled in performing various surgical and minor procedures, including chalazion removal, pterygium excision, eyelash removal (epilation), foreign body removal, and lacrimal syringing for diagnosing and treating tear duct obstructions. She is particularly focused on children’s eye health, ensuring early intervention for optimal visual development and preventing long-term issues.
